Ebroacero is a steel company from Aragon founded in 1963, specialised in cast steel foundry and the manufacture of high-quality industrial parts. Its production process spans from the technical office and moulding to melting, machining, heat treatments and quality control, a complex industrial sequence that operates 24 hours a day. To bring this technical and productive capacity into a digital environment understandable to different audiences, Ebroacero has developed an interactive infographic that virtually recreates its facilities and allows its processes to be explored in an accessible, structured and educational way.
Making a steel foundry understandable.
Ebroacero is a steel company from Aragon with more than six decades of history, with a complex production process that combines technical office, moulding, melting, machining, heat treatments and quality control. An operation that unfolds across more than 21,000 square metres of facilities and runs 24 hours a day. Conveying that technical and industrial complexity to a broad audience —clients, partners, job candidates, the internal team itself— was a recurring communication challenge: a tool was needed that could show clearly, visually and didactically how steel is transformed from the initial design to the finished part.
