Seeing the Pyrenees' animals when they don't want to be seen
Lacuniacha offers its visitors something rare in a wildlife park: the chance to see the animals of the Pyrenees in semi-freedom, with no barriers or cages. That authenticity is at once the park's greatest value and its main operational friction: the animals appear and disappear at their own pace, and don't always coincide with the visitor's passing. Added to this reality is an educational challenge: how to convey in an engaging way the natural history of the Pyrenees, the evolution of its ecosystems and the extinct fauna that inhabited the area thousands of years ago. The visit needed enriching without intruding on the natural environment.
