They operate the physical world

Digital Twins

Virtual replicas of assets, spaces and processes to operate, simulate and optimise the physical world from the digital one.

What it is

The physical world, visible and explorable in digital.

A digital twin is a virtual replica of something real (a machine, a monument, a space or a process) that behaves like the original and lets you anticipate what would happen before it actually does. It's used to train a team without putting real equipment at risk, to test a change without stopping production, or to let a customer explore a space that doesn't exist yet or is hard to reach. When connected to real sensors, the twin can also reflect in real time what is happening in the physical space.

How we do it

Study, design and development, applied to your digital replica.

Study

We analyse the real asset, space or process you want to replicate: its geometry, how it works and what you need to see, simulate or understand digitally.

Design

We design the virtual replica and decide its level of detail and interactivity, and whether it needs to connect to sensors to reflect real data.

Development

We build the digital twin, connect it if needed and make it accessible from any device, ready to explore, simulate or train on.

Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask before getting started.

What's the difference between a digital twin and a simple 3D model or animation?

A 3D model is a static image. A digital twin behaves like the original: you can walk through it, query it and, if connected to real sensors, update it with real-time data.

Do I need sensors or special devices to have a digital twin?

Not always. We can build an interactive replica purely for visualisation, training or sales, and add sensors later if the project needs them.

Does it work for a small space or only for large facilities?

Both. We have digitalised everything from a machine or a room to a 345-hectare monumental complex: the scope depends on the challenge, not on a minimum size.

Where can the digital twin be viewed or used?

From any connected device: computer, phone, tablet or Virtual Reality glasses, depending on how your team or your customers will use it.

Is it safe to digitalise sensitive spaces or processes?

Yes. Every project respects access permissions and the confidentiality of the information, and we comply with current regulations (GDPR, ePrivacy) by design.

Why choose Imascono as your partner in Digital Twins?

Because we don't just deliver a pretty 3D model: we study your real asset or process and build the replica to fit what you need to do with it, with your team trained to update it.
