Training laboratory staff without moving trainers or wasting material.
Hands-on training of laboratory staff around a new pharmaceutical product is one of the most critical and costly processes in the industry. The user manual alone doesn't guarantee mastery of the procedure, but the conventional alternatives are unfeasible at global scale: sending trainers to every country consumes time and budget, and in-person sessions require pharmaceutical material to be set aside solely for learning, multiplying the opportunity cost for the company and its customers. Boehringer Ingelheim needed training that was hands-on, motivating, simultaneous across countries and respectful of real pharmaceutical material.
